In the driver configuration, for collections (which used to be called shelves), @PeterT has added the column "#finished". This will create a collections for each value in the column.

These are separate actions. The #finished column is automatically populated. You will need to manually add the tag you want. I semi-automate this using the Reading List plugin. I have a status column whose value gets changed when I move the book between my "ToRead", "Reading" and "Read" lists.
