I had that feeling when I read Clive Barker's Books of Blood and I had that feeling reading Nightscape (not that Nightscape is of the same stature as the Books of Blood).
Oooh, I started Books of Blood and keep forgetting it's sitting on the table next to my reading chair. It's hardback and I find it easier to read Kindle.
