With the 7pt, all the lines are the same width. With the 36pt, some of the lines are thinner. 7pt is more uniform and better for a hi-res eInk screen. because of the uniformity of the lines. 12pt is OK as well. But 36pt is where you star getting the noticeable thinning of some lines.

I did try the font last night and found that it didn't work well. The spacing was off (IMHO). Too much space between the letters.
