This is the reason they gave me as to why they don't sell them anymore and this goes back way before the pandemic.

Yes our market is small in SA, but it seems nobody want educated in the difference between makes.
When I asked about overdrive support in SA they said they haven't even discussed the subject.
If was my agency I would have at least asked kobo about supporting it as thats a market that kindle falls flat in. The government has been buying tablets for the libraries.
