Hi, like you, I tried to have Kiwix working on my PB632.
The issue : "you can decline"
=> not in my case ?
1) I rooted the device through
https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh....php?p=3921722
2) my kiwix server is working fine, I can access it through a distant browser, and since I rooted the device, now also through local browser, **when WiFi ON**
3) I checked (with ipconfig) that my loopback interface is OK before running kiwix.
I would like to access http://locahost:8080/ even when no WiFi
when WiFi OFF, when running the default browser (a chromium, I think) with default_page to a local "file:///" url, it's OK, I can access the page.
when WiFi OFF, when running the browser with default_page to "http://locahost:8080/" or "http://127.0.0.1:8080/", it keeps asking to start the WiFi, press cancel just make the dialog box come again and again.
How did you find that "you can decline" ?
I tried to add "--no-proxy-server", same.
I tried to run directly /ebrmain/bin/browser.app (instead of the standard script that runs "/ebrmain/bin/openbook /ebrmain/bin/browser.app"), same.
Do you have an idea ?
FW is V632.5.19.1120
