I'm feeling very frustrated with my doctor's office. I called yesterday to make an appointment with my doctor, the assistant suggested a phone consultation and I agreed. The doctor would call me between 9 and 10 am.

By 9.45 I started doubting if the doctor was going to call, or I had to call in. Gave it another ten minutes before calling them.

He had tried to call, but no one answered. When I asked which phone number he used the assistant recited a landline number we had cancelled over a decade ago. When that number was cancelled I called to get it changed and since then at at least half a dozen occasions I tried to get it changed to our other landline number. The last time was in February, when I also told them to use my mobile phone number as main number.

They did (finally) have the correct mobile phone number and I had the assistant remove the landline number altogether (hopefully).

Luckily the doctor still had an opening at 10.45 for a phone consult. After that I'll send them an email asking them to check my details, again.
