Spent most of my reading time the past few days doing a purge of my Calibre libraries. When I did the big purge back in 2011, I mainly targeted freebies and justified keeping many other titles with "but I paid for it so might read it someday". I'll admit a few titles like that remained this time too, but I tried to be more honest with myself this time around as to what books I actually hope to eventually read.
My TBR is out of control and even though it is now 99% digital and thus not taking up physical space, I felt as it was taking up space in my brain so the books I will never actually read (even though I paid money for them!) simply needed to go. It made me sad in some ways, but I feel better now.
Also debated deleting books already read by authors I won't buy again, but that seemed like making work for myself for no reason. In this case the "but it's a virtual shelf" argument won out. Still have way too many books in my TBR mountain, but I'm a reading addict so that's just life LOL. (FWIW, I deleted 220 books, mostly new to me but a small percentage were books I'd read but have now decided not to keep.)

Weekly Report:
Read:- A Touch of Stone and Snow (A Gathering of Dragons #2) by Milla Vane (A-/5 stars)
- Second Chance Christmas by Mackenzie McKade (D+/2 stars)
- Ripped by Sarah Morgan (C/2 stars)
Purchased:
I'd read A Heart of Blood and Ashes from the library but decided I wanted my own copy. And I bought the novella even though I own the anthology version as I only needed one more book to finish up my Penguin Random House rewards to get the $30 code.
