Like I said before, for me, it is not that rare deleting a highlight. Also, I don't think this would cause any trouble. Just an easy option.
Well, lets see if other people share your need for frequent delete of highlights, if so I will reconsider.

I need some kind of a use case for this. I added the export feature because someone said they want to put the highlights of a book into evernote. Per book export works great for that. What is your use case? You will export notes for multiple books and do what with them?
