Ah success. Took a little tinkering and still seems a little hinky (could just have been FileZilla which I tried along with cyber duck)

At first I wasn’t able to connect because it wasn’t seeing the kobo at all, then it was a login error (btw login/pass is apparently just root/“blank” as in actually nothing), then it was timing out. But eventually through something I did it connected.

CyberDuck doesn’t seem to have any issues maintaining a connection that I saw, I’ll test again tomorrow barring other feedback here)

FileZilla disconnected and had issues reconnecting. It didn’t tell me why just that it couldn’t connect and then started to retry.

Honestly either client works for me so I’m semi curious as to what might have caused the connection issues.

I did get a kick out of both clients being very concerned about the l/p being sent in plaintext only because it’s connecting to a IP/Device that anyone not on my WAN/LAN can’t access.
