Even though I work in tech, I have almost zero USB-C devices. My work laptop uses too much power for USB-C charging and has a HUGE power brick, my personal laptop is too old, my phone uses Lightning, and I charge it wirelessly. I'm OK with micro-usb for now -- I'm actually considering getting one of those thin wireless charging mats that goes inside of the case.

As for colored light, I find it WAY WAY easier on the eyes at night and it's my favorite new feature, by far.
