4G LTE is already prevalent in the US. Still not quite enough for Netflix and YouTube so they’ve been deploying 5G now.
I know both T-Mobile and AT&T have 5G in my area now.
On Verizon 4G LTE, I get 50Mbps and that’s considering I’ve got 2 bars in super congested Los Angeles. In less congested areas with strong signals, I’ve seen speedtest results of people getting gigabit LTE speeds.
