Oh and we don't like to help anyone using this program.
Do you always jump on someone who doesn't know what you know in this manner?

O.P. - What JSWolf said is accurate. The way he said it was not very nice though. The Calibre DeDRM plugin and code from Apprentice Alf works well for me. I will admit, it is not the simplest thing to understand and set up. We can't discuss details about that here, as the legality of removing DRM is a volatile topic that could cause problems for this forum. It did help me to do a lot of Googling and reading, then re-reading, to figure out the installation. Start out by Googling "DeDRM" and "Apprentice Alf". That should get you moving. I'm pretty sure you've already done this in the past, but try going deeper and reading more than the first hit or two that shows up on a Google search. Once you accomplish a successful installation and it works, it is easier to understand what you did. But for a new user coming in, the mechanics are not intuitively obvious, at least they weren't to me. This was years ago when I installed it. Things may be different now.

IMHO, if you want to find the most knowledgeable and useful posts on this subject, search for things "jhowell" has written over the years. That's probably more informative than Googling actually. You just have to search out his knowledge, as it is spread across many different posts in many different threads here. Given some background you can glean from his posts, what you find Googling later will make more sense.
