To be fair: instructions for building Sigil on Windows for complete beginners could run to 100 pages or more. My instructions are always going to assume readers already have a passing to moderate familiarity with C++ compilation on Windows. For those that don't have that, Sigil probably isn't the best jumping on point to learn. Mainly because of multiple dependencies and very specific environment requirements.
There's plenty of much easier tutorials/projects out there to help beginners get up to speed.
