This is instead a satisfyingly clear picture (from a YT video from 红酒汤姆一世) of how the displayed content looks like.
Since the colour-tinted areas are very evident, the picture shows well how the 300-ish DPI E-Ink layer somoothly "subpixels" the 100-ish DPI filter.
But it does not yet answer those basic old question - how does text in colour look, at what resolution are images rendered, how do PDF renderings look etc.

There the guy is, on the right. Just do not expect the real kaleido to have that contrast boost I added...
