epub to pdf justification question

My CSS justifies paragraph tags, but not other tags. This works good in the calibre viewer as an epub, but when I convert to pdf it is all or none, depending on the setting in "Look & Feel / Justification". If I set it to "original" it does not work. The warning box says it might not work in some output formats. Am I missing something? Best regards, Pop
