You keep writing that kindles can't sent email because they do not have an email client. An email client is not required to send mail, a mail transfer agent is required instead. An application running on a linux system with a mail transfer agent can send an email with one line of code. Kindles have a mail transfer agent. See below for an example.

Also, since kindles communicate with amazon servers, they obviously could transfer a message and identification to a server and the server could send the message (e.g. highlights and notes) by email.
