Hi,

I've got a Kobo Aura H2O and I'm using Calibre to manage my library. And I installed syncthing on my kobo and on my notebook.

syncthing syncs a folder between my notebook and my kobo. So I added that folder as a 'device' on Calibre, and configured it to prefer kepub files. That way, I can send what I want to that folder and it should be synchronized to my ereader device.

Everything works fine, files are synchronized and I can check they are on my reader by logging in using ssh. But they do not show up in my gallery (nickel), except if I rename then from *.kepub to *.kepub.epub

So my question is: is there a way to make calibre output kepub as kepub.epub? Other ideas are also appreciated.
