True, but without being updated it's going to become more and more problematic as new devices which are locked to firmware versions beyond what KSM will work on properly to use.
In that it's like the various Night Mode/Invert Screen hacks here, they might still work on the current firmware with the right devices, but there are better more reliable options available to achieve effectively the same thing.
KSM isn't dead, but it's on life support, and no one appears to be paying the bills.
