As you’re missing the point let me outline it for you very simply.

No one is debating that the battery is glued in.
No one is debating that this was a choice made.

What was being debated was that this was some plot by the companies selling these devices to force them into upgrading needlessly.

Your one and only comment has been that the battery is glued in. Which again, just to make sure you understand and don’t miss it, was never being debated.

Now if it were some plot by said companies it makes no sense for them to spend money producing new devices as often as they are. Regardless of if you care about the features added the adding of them and release of new products costs money.

So I’ll stand by the statement that you are either unable or unwilling to defend your claim that this is some plot to force consumers into upgrading. You are of course entitled to whatever opinion you want. It’s just unfortunate that you aren’t producing anything to support it.
