these words i am familiar with and stand by them. a cynic would say it's in the manufacture's interest to use a non-replaceable battery, and glue it in just to make it even harder for the owner/user to be able to change it for a new one when the need arises.

the battery is purposely glued in, effectively making ereaders made that way disposable products for the average user. that/my opinion is backed up by the fact that's it's glued in. defend the practice as much as you want, but for me it's self explanatory.

"Words are wind" means words are meaningless without action, in this case the action of presenting a well reasoned argument to establish your claim. Not really sure why you'd be thankful to not be familiar with such a phrase.
