Let me explain.

I have a Calibre instance on my Win10 PC where I manage books... adding, deleting, editing. My PC's Calibre book library is synced to my NAS where the Calibre Docker server resides.

When a new book is synced to the NAS, it does not appear in the server interface, unless I restart the server (even days after adding the book). It seems like the server is not watching for changes in the database.

It's quite possible I've overlooked a setting somewhere.

What do I need to do for the Docker instance of Calibre/Server to update when new books are added? Thank you.
You need to shutdown both you pc calibre and Docker instance before you sync . Also make sure it is a one way sync. Should be able to find scripts to halt calibre server and then run sync, then restart calibre server.
