I think from the time the Clara was introduced the Kobo Aura 2 HD was officially listed as being $10 less than the Clara, but (in the United States anyhow) the Aura 2 was often heavily discounted. At one point Walmart was selling them for $50 and for several months they sold them for $70. I'm guessing that, in the U.S., they'll be priced to compete with the Kindle Basic.
