Without a full Calibre debug log showing your problem reproduced, I don't know that LC is responsible for this. Calibre > Preferences Down Arrow > Restart in Debug Mode, then recreate this error a couple of times, then exit Calibre. The text file for the log will appear. Post it.
Added: The "[Title] - [Author]" in your posts interests me. Nowhere does that literal appear anywhere in any of my plugins. What were you doing exactly when you got the error? Your debug log may or may not show what you were doing if LC were not the cause.
