I used to think that would be a good idea. But then those e-reader and library apps aren't going to be configured to play well with an e-ink screen. And running full Android makes the batteries not last as long.

Since I can sideload books, I've decided to pick the reader who's software I like the most and not worry about apps.

If libraries were a concern for me, living in the US I would pick a Kobo or Kindle.
