I have a lot of respect for what you do, Hitch. I'm sure that it's just a failing of mine that I can't see the difference. It doesn't, however, invalidate the fact that I like the way Kepub looks over Epub. I don't expect everyone to want to have their books the way I want mine to, and I'm getting *really* tired of being told that the way I like my books to look is "wrong".

Sorry for the rant, and again, Hitch, this is not totally directed against you. It is more directed to other people who think that their way is the only way.

Honestly, I meant what I said. You shouldn't be able to see it! Jon does, because he's, well, Jon. But 99.99% of people wouldn't. They do see rivers, of course and that sort of stuff, but truly...if people SEE what we've done, if they note it, we've probably failed. :-) You don't owe me any apology and largely, I agree with you. I just hadda stick up for plain old typography there!

Tracking, in eBook formatting, doesn't exist at this time, not for reflowable. And there's no reason it should, as it exists to...let's see, to balance the look/feel of a page, in terms of the amount of ink on the page. :-D
