A nook is a place to hide. Why would someone want to hide when they're reading?

If you are a very small and tiny person - not that there's anything wrong with that! - (think 'The Incredible Shrinking Man') and you owned both devices, you could hide in your pocketbook while reading on a nook.

DICTIONARY:

nook
/no͝ok/
noun
noun: nook; plural noun: nooks

1) corner or recess, especially one offering seclusion or security.
2)An ebook reader, one often used while hiding in a pocketbook. Most readers usually gravitate to a Kindle after having tried the other two. Please see 'Kindle' for further information.

"the nook beside the fire" // "the nook was in the pocketbook"
