From a philosophical point of view, I think this is actually a good thing. "Government of the people, by the people, and for the people," and all that.
The fiscal policy of the government in question, however, is another matter. I think my status as a Quaker means I have to be a Conscientious Objector to that, too.

(Not that I expect the government of Mobilita Republica to be any more responsive to those concerns than the physical nation I live in.)
