Unfortunately, crengine doesn't support <ruby> tags.
A bit of a tease since we won't bump the crengine submodule for another week, but see the screenshot for the new ruby support.

The visual effect was already fairly easily possible on current releases with some clever user style tweaks for a little while now, even using the ruby element, but this real support is better.

That will make KOReader compatible with ruby-using tools like https://github.com/xnohat/wordwisecreator without any adjustments, although I still think footnotes or marginal glosses would look better.
