There's a setting in "General settings" which lets you completely hide the floating toolbar. It doesn't disable the toolbar, in that it will still appear if you swipe in from either side. But the setting completely hides the small wedge that you usually see when the toolbar is minimised.

As far as the navigation ball goes, there is a setting is in a separate 'navigation ball' app (accessible from the 'app' tab) which lets you disable the ball completely.

My experience is on the Max 2, but my understanding is that these elements of the interface function identically across all devices.
