I agree, the battery life is fine. If I use it regularly, as in all the time, the battery seems to last forever. As long as a kobo or kindle. If I leave it for a few days while reading on a different device, when I pick it up it seems to have depleted some while sitting asleep. So I changed the settings in power to do a shut down if I set it down for more than 1 day. Takes a little longer to start up initially but it won't use any battery (very little) while powered off.
