JSWolf is very anti-Kindle so take his comments with a grain of salt. Amazon is far from perfect and bugs are inevitable but oftentimes, he tends to make issues seem worse or more widespread than they are.

There have been reports of higher battery drain but honestly, that's been the case for pretty much every firmware update. Seems like it might have been fixed already, too.
