That's the benefit of making it a toggle switch - I was thinking a menu item in the View menu or somesuch - people who want to use it can toggle it when they want it on... those who find no use for it can just not click on it.
But, all this is moot unless someone wants to submit a pull request. Becky showed that it is a fairly straight forward option.... I think..... It was done so quickly...
