Hi DavidFor. Thank you for your reply.

In that case you have been giving mixed messages.
Please show me how I have been doing that.

From memory, the mention of the output plugin was because you showed screenshots of the kepub opened with the calibre viewer.
Yes, I did show screenshots of the kepub opened with the calibre viewer. Your memory is correct with this.

That usually means someone has the kepub in the library.
I think you arrived at a wrong conclusion. I have no dispute as to what the "usual meaning" would be. In my case, however, I don't keep kepubs in my Calibre library/database. The Calibre viewer was viewing the kepub that was inside my Kobo ereader. The computer was connected to my Kobo by USB.

In any case, I have used beta's of both the extended driver and the output plugin on the copy of the book you sent me. Both produced the correct results. No unexpected paragraph breaks or font changes.
Wish I could have the same results!

If you are still seeing them, it means you either haven't installed the correct beta of the driver (version 3.2.9 or 3.2.10) or beta plugin (version 3.2.10), or you haven't run the book through them.
Not sure if you had the chance to see this post of mine https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...7&postcount=28. I tried to install the beta KTE driver on my Linux, but it still registers as 3.2.7 on my Linux computer. (On the other hand, it successfully registers as 3.2.9 on a Windows computer).

Does anybody know the version discrepancy, and how to get my Linux Calibre using the 3.2.9 beta?
UPDATE: I just reopened my Linux Calibre and now KoboTouchExtended shows up as 3.2.9. So I'm gonna try it now on the badly formatted books.
