Thanks for the quick reply, KevinH.
I tried doing what you suggested before I posted, but after clicking OK, I didn't see any changes in my book's file structure.
The file I tried to move is still sitting in it's original location (the Text folder), and new folder I tried to create is nowhere to be seen. I saved the book, closed and reopened Sigil, but that made no difference.
After reopening Sigil, attempting to move the file a second time resulted in an error about creating duplicate file with the same name -- but the original file hadn't moved; it was still in its original location, and there was no new folder created.
I had expected that moving the file to a new folder would result in the creation of a new folder, with the file placed inside it.
When I tried to move the file again, I got an error message about creating a duplicate file. Very strange!
Sigil 1.20.0 on Windows 10, BTW.
* later * I see the problem now. Sigil DID move the file, and it DID create the folder, but it did NOT update the Book Browser display. When I tried to delete the file, I saw in the confirmation dialog that file IS in a different folder. The problem is, the new folder is not displayed in the book browser window.
It would be helpful it if were.
