Which was splendid. A fitting conclusion. But I find that quite possibly the reading order guides were wrong, and that this was actually the eigth book, and I should have slotted the "Odd Interlude" shorter novel in before now. Never mind.

Next up: In the Midnight Hour by Patty O'Shea. A Tor freebie I picked up way back in 2008.
