I agree. It is definitely pedantic, considering you have to click the name of the thread Does anyone still miss the old, tiled homescreen? to get to the poll.

I did almost mention 'tiled' in the poll, but I stuck with 'old' and 'new' instead, trusting the title and first post to clarify to any potential voter.

Oh, almost certainly the new menus are better. I do miss the tiles, but that doesn't mean I miss the old firmware it was attached to. And yeah, I always disliked the search bar.

If Kobo did decide to bring back the tiles, I would hope they would rethink it and make some changes. I just miss the freeflowing, user controlled feel of the tiles vs. the regimented blocks of the current screen.
