The Kindle parental control only allows books from Amazon. NO classic kids stories from Gutenberg.
I tested it for my grandson. It's not fit for purpose. Also don't buy a "Kid's Edition" kindle.
Keep your WiFi password secret and good. It should be ANYWAY! Write it down in a notebook in a locked, safe place. As should all other passwords in case of terminal accidents.
