If the DX lost the time & date you may need to leave WiFi/3G on for some hours, or try daily before the date corrects from 1970 to now. It does eventually.

Indeed you were right! Just tried to register and registration was successful! Although yesterday I tried to register all day and nothing worked. I contacted Amazon support where they told me to buy a newer book. Amazing nearby.
As for the Internet. Pages do not open in an extremal browser. I tried many different sites, but none opened. Maybe you tell me an example of a site that opens in the Kindle DX browser? Thank.
