Daffy4U - I just compared the cookbook on a Kindle 2 with 2.0.1, Kindle 2 with 2.0.2, and Kindle 1 with the latest firmware. The illustration refresh is odd, just as you described on both Kindle 2's with either version of the firmware. The Kindle 1 is much better at presenting the image. I can't see a difference in presenting a normal text page on the Kindle 2's but see that a page with bullets on it does the weird refresh on the Kindle 2's. Note that I'm the kind of guy who has to hit replay a few more times when trying to figure out what happened in a sporting event so I may not be able to see what is obvious to others..
