That's possible as Boyue fail to prepare you for the formatting choices when you pop in an SD card. You get two options and if you choose the wrong one, as I did, you can end up later doing a factory reset. That's no fun because it's a long way back.
Hopefully fduniho is not in this position but I'll be interested to hear about how to recover the device if he is.
