I am having a little trouble getting this feature to work properly and I am not sure what is going on.

I have configured the Auto-Add from folder feature and set Calibre to Auto-Merge Books with the configuration Ignore duplicate incoming formats. I can see that Calibre detects the duplicates, because if I enable Check for duplicates when automatically adding files in the Automatic Adding configuration pane, I get warnings about the detected duplicates. After confirming that I still want to import the duplicates I see that they are still separate entries in the Calibre library. One other thing to note is that both copies of the book are being added during the same Auto-Import session (if that makes a difference).

I'm not sure what I am doing wrong here. Is the Auto-Merge not compatible with the Auto-Add or am I missing something?
