I think I'll start on Nightscape next.

I started reading Kill River last night. I shared it back when all the author's books were on sale for a buck each.

I almost quit the book immediately. The book is set in the eighties, but right at the beginning the author is beating you over the head with it. The kid is listening to a Go-Go's cassette on her Walkman while eating Pac-Man cereal... But it calmed down. I'm pretty sure it's the guy's first book. I'll keep going.
