I am so lost on what you suggest though...lol.
I probably will just have to keep the two different columns, making sure that I keep them up. The hierarchal tags look so good in the browser, but I hate them in the book details. I can’t do fixed choice columns because I keep adding to them over time and then that changes them in other libraries.
I guess I will just have to keep track. I am doing this for a number of columns that have grown a bit long.
Would be so nice if we could map the tags in the book to the tags in the columns. Best of both worlds. It would take forever to set up, but once it’s done then it’s done. If it could be set up like the tag editor. Have the original tag, set the mapped tag. I understand that Job Spy offers that, but I haven’t gotten around to using it yet.
