Trying to get my office ready for the absolute deluge of eviction cases we are about to be referred. The court system here is reopening fully on Monday and we expect to get tons of referrals from folks who get eviction notices on their door.

Doing legal work for the poor, especially during the pandemic, really shows you how some people view other people as no more than chattel or, dare I say it, human capital.
