The order of Preferences->Behaviour->Preferred input format order: determines what format is viewed. Put them in your preferred order - e.g. PDF, MOBI, EPUB, etc. Then, when you click the View Button or press 'V', if there is a PDF it will open, if not and there is a MOBI it will open, if not and there is an EPUB it will open, etc etc.
