Audiobooks seem to be a thing for you. Do you have a phone or tablet? I ask as I really would not suggest using an e-ink reader for audiobooks. Phones and tablets tend to have more storage and a better UI for something like an audio player.

If you have no speaker and no bluetooth, how are you going to listen to audiobooks?

As others have said, if you are going to sideload books to a reader registration isn't much of a thing. If you are keeping WiFi off at all times, there will be no tracking of your activity.
I understand the desire for absolute privacy, but at times it can become a hindrance. If a one-time registration gives you access to a device with overall better features, just make an account with a disposable email address, register and get on with your life.
