see the problem with this is if you promote every feature to the home page then the home page becomes no longer simple/useful. Theres nothing hidden about restricting users to subsets of libraries, you simply enter the search expression you want to use for the restriction. It can be any arbitrary search expression not limited to virtual libraries.
