The FFF metadata entry status usually contains 'Complete' or 'In-Progress'. (Some sites have additional values and some sites don't have any status value.)

By default, status is one of the metadata entries populated into Calibre's Tags column.

You can also populate status into a custom column from FFF Config under the Custom Columns tab.

Note that FFF only populates Calibre columns on story download or update.

However, you can setup an FFF 'Saved Metadata Column' (FFF Config under the Custom Columns tab toward the bottom). Once that column is populated (by FFF download or update), you can use the 'Update Calibre Metadata from Saved Metadata Column' update mode to update other columns without needing to fetch from the sites again.

For FFF saved metadata, you want Column Type long text. Set the "Interpret as" to HTML if you want it to be easily readable, but don't try to edit what FFF puts in that column then--Calibre will change the formatting and it won't work anymore for FFF.
