Thanks for the confirmation. I wasn't really successful in finding concrete info regarding Kobo readers. I didn't do my due diligence while buying Kindle PW3 and I am now stuck with no SW jailbreak. But Kobo had shut shop here about 3 years back so it would have been difficult to arrange for one what with high customs duties and shipping charges. Same goes for Boyue/Onyx readers. At that time the Kobo Glo? was being sold off for a mere $30. While I tried to make a decision it went OOS. Nearly 4 years later I finally had purchased a dedicated ereader. Other than the draconian software restrictions pretty happy with the Kindle so far.
