The default is set in Preferences / Look & feel / Book details. It is a template. The fields available are 'author', 'title', and 'author_sort.
The link for an individual author is configurable in the tag browser Manage Authors function. Right-click on Authors or a specific author to get to Manage Authors. The link is not a template.
